WisConn Investments, LLC is a private equity firm founded in 2003 that specializes in commercial real estate, small to mid-sized business, and real estate Tenant-In-Common investment opportunities. We currently wholly own several businesses as well as over 60 apartment buildings, office buildings, and retail centers located throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. In addition, we organize investment groups to purchase larger assets in which we retain a percentage of the ownership as well as the on-going management. Our extensive relationships with brokers, owners, and industry specific experts provide you early access to many properties and businesses for sale throughout the Midwest, many of which are unlisted or not yet available to the open market. We augment these relationships and expertise with vigorous market research and the services of specialized third-party consultants. Thus, we’re able to offer a wide breadth of high-quality investment options for you at any particular time. Jason Punzel is one of the founding members of White Cap Realty and WisConn Investments. WisConn Investments was started in 2003, and now owns over 60 apartment complexes, office buildings and retail centers throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.
In 2004, WisConn Investments purchased Warren Heating and Air Conditioning. Under Mr. Punzel's leadership, Warren Heating's revenue increased 200%, and profits increased over 500% in a two year period. WisConn Investments, sold Warren Heating in 2006 for approximately three times the original purchase price.
Prior to WisConn Investments, Mr. Punzel was a district sales manager for Pitney Bowes, where his district was one of the top ranked districts in the country. Mr. Punzel stared investing privately in multi-family real estate in 2001.
Mr. Punzel graduated with honors from Cornell University with a degree in Managerial Economics/Finance. While at Cornell, Mr. Punzel was a member of the varsity wrestling team, which consistently ranked in the top 20 of Division I wrestling programs. Mr. Punzel is married and has three young children. He is actively involved in the community, serving/served on the board of directors for Madison East Rotary, the Apartment Association of South Central Wisconsin, Interfaith Hospitality Network and Christian Business Men's Committee. He is also a member of Downtown Madison, Inc, Downtown Rotary of Madison, and the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce.
Chris Ringe joined White Cap Real Estate, LLC as a Principal in 2007. Mr. Ringe previously served as a CPA with one of the lagest public accounting firms in the Midwest. Mr. Ringe also provided audit and tax services for a Big Four public accounting firm in Chicago, where he worked with public and privately held clients in a variety of industries with revenues ranging from $20 million to near $5 billion worldwide. Mr. Ringe received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting, along with a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Ringe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
